The Event

HealthWest Partnership is pleased to invite you to the Western Region Alcohol & Other Drugs Forum.
The interactive forum aims to provide an opportunity for AOD stakeholders in the western metropolitan region to get together and discuss regional issues, and how we can respond together. The first part of the forum will consist of a panel of local stakeholders discussing AOD trends in the west.  This panel includes:

  • Health Works (Western Region Health Centre)
  • Stepping Up
  • Western Health - Drug Health Services
  • Wyndham City Council
  • Voyage (ISIS Primary Care)

The second part of the forum includes concurrent break-out sessions where experts will provide unique perspective on two topics:

  • different approaches to understanding and addressing alcohol-related harm
  • reducing AOD harms for people involved with the justice system.

These sessions will see presentations and perspectives from organisations including:

  • Centre for Research Excellence into Injecting Drug Use
  • Centre for Alcohol Policy Research
  • Harm Reduction Victoria
  • VACRO
  • VicHealth

Who Should Attend?

Any individual or organisation with an interest in addressing alcohol and other drug harms in the western metropolitan region.
