The Alcohol Tobacco and Other Drugs Council of Tasmania together with the Centre for Research Excellence into Injecting Drug Use (CREIDU) are proud to present From Prisons to Communities: Transitional Programs for People Living with HIV.

About the speaker

Professor Frederick Altice specialises in the interface between infectious diseases and substance misuse and has created novel programs for HIV and HCV treatment in custodial settings.

He is an international leader in HIV and Hepatitis treatment for people who inject drugs and integrating opioid replacement therapy into managing co-morbid conditions.
